First City In The Country To Have Vacuum-based Sewers Awarded By The President Of India
Following the QUA-VAC Vacuum system design, a vacuum-based sewer system has been successfully implemented near the Taj Mahal, with a Vacuum Station established in the Taj Ganj Area of Agra. This approach effectively addresses challenges where conventional sewer systems are not feasible.
In the low-lying Taj Ganj Area, a vacuum-based sewer system has been implemented, featuring 112sensor-equipped chambers.
This advanced system automatically generates alerts for blockages or malfunctions and offers remote operation capabilities from anywhere in the world.
Following a successful trial of the Agra Project, the vacuum sewer technology is set to be implemented in the Kochi Municipal Corporation.
